Usual to Unusual…

Everything in life was going normal.
Just like “Business as Usual.”
Morning to evening and till night.
Every day was like a fight.
Weekend was one which we used to like and wait.
As it was a formal way to take a break.
Exploring nearby and far places in the vicinity.
Provided a way to find serenity.
Going out was a normal course of business.
Be it for work, tea/kulhar or tapri tea, shopping or movie.
Our face used to thrill with positive expression.

The freedom of roaming here and there no more lasts.
As the world suddenly suffered the “Corona” blast.
Weather of world has changed in startled way and direction.
Work from home and social distancing is the new evolution.
Life is no more “usual” now.
Surviving in this pandemic is the priority now.
We don’t know how much it will last.
As the world is suffering from the “Corona” blast.
Life is no more “business as usual.”
As life has changed suddenly from “usual to unusual”.
As life has changed suddenly from “usual to unusual”.

An Incomplete Poem

One day I thought of writing a poem.
After a big gap of many months.
Thought came and so do words.
I tried to pen down my words.
Mind was full of feelings and emotions.
I was trying to portray my inner situation.
Blurred in the midst of day and night.
I was writing the journey of my life.

Moving the pen slowly on the paper.
I started to describe my feelings on paper.
The journey which was belligerent and haunted.
Made me to write which needs to be trusted.
I gave my all effort to depict the suffering.
Slowly tears came while recalling.
During the course of the ups and downs.
I did have nervous breakdown.
Relationships became trading port.
I was left without any support.
Recalling those memoirs while writing.
My hand and brain were shivering.
I took a break for a while.
Hoping to smile while I write.

Couple of hours passed and I sat again to write.
Moving into deep of my heart to portray that drive.
Powerful emotions and strong words were chosen.
Unable to phrase the sentence, the poem was left open.
The poem was incomplete and I was shocked.
Made me to realize, I entered the writer’s block.
Feelings, emotions and scenes everything I have selected.
The poem which I started to write never completed.
I look towards my literary piece of work.
Hoping to complete that work.
As I started to write and complete the poem.
Made me to feel, it’s an incomplete poem.

Perception about writers…

Hello  to all my bloggers and writers and to all who are reading this post. There is a question which often comes in my mind that why people think writer’s are unconventional and not normal. Most of the times I have seen people commenting about the writers ability to write and convey their thoughts. Or better to say they simply conclude that “writers are mad”. 😦 Are we really ???

Being myself a writer I can feel this kind of thoughts coming from those group of people who are non-writers. The question is how and why they perceive like this? I think if I am able to write something apart from academics work , it is an extra talent which I posses. This perception can be easily observed and I think you might have felt the same at some point in life. It is a kind of startling perception.

writer

One reason can be they are jealous that how he/she is able to write while doing other task as well. 🙂 Those who write they only know how much effort and dedication is required in writing which include fiction, short stories, poems, articles etc. What to include and what not to include in the posr? Is the post can be related to those who are reading ? Also those criticize writers they forget that they too are reading something either in books, internet or newspapers, novels  etc which are also being composed by non other than writers itself. I have been also criticized by many like “Kya likhte rehta hai… koi kaam nahi hai kya? (What you are always writng… Don’t have any other work?) ”

I tell you the reason why I write. I write because I love to do so and I hope most of the writers write because of the same. It is the passion which keeps on growing  which results into creation of new posts.  I have written a poem summarizing about why people write. You can read that poem titled Why do I write?  So whats your take on perception about writer’s? Share your views in the form of comments…

Is the time right?

Indian Bloggers

Want to write,
Is the time right?
A question which often comes.
Better this should be overcome.
How can you stop a writer from writing?
Stopping from doing the right thing.

                   Hey! Dirty mind.
                   Don’t deviate the focused mind.
                   Let the mind work properly.
                   Allowing it to write frequently.
                  You be seated in corner.
Take rest and stick to corner.

Culprit is not the time.
But it is our own mind.
Don’t think much.
Just write and write.
As…
You want to write.
But..
Again the question arise.
Is the time right???
