Not in a mood…

Not in a mood to write anything.
What should be motto behind writing?
The mind has become little tired.
Better not to write something weird.
Eyes are blinking continuously.
Losing my energy slowly.
I think to take some rest.
Coming back, I will enjoy the fest.
Seems like I am sleeping.
Better to avoid writing.
It depends on the thought process.
Better to avoid forceful writing process.
Good days to all.
Hope I will wake up soon from sleeping.
As…
I am not in a mood of writing.

Selfie deaths…

Generally, most of us are fond of taking selfie whenever we get a chance. The word “selfie” was added in Oxford English dictionary in 2013. But are you aware there are many injuries and deaths which occurs at the time of taking selfie. According to a study by scholars from Carnegie Mellon University and Indraprastha Institute of Information Delhi, India has more selfie-related deaths than any country in the world. The findings of the study reveals that there were 127 deaths due to selfie over the past two years, of which 76 deaths occurred in India alone. So, we are the topper when it comes to selfie deaths.  Let us look at the number of casualties occurred in some countries due to selfie which is depicted in the following table. The data is as per  the above mentioned study.

Country No of casualties
India 76
Pakistan 9
USA 8
Russia 6
Philippines, China 4
Spain 3

As it can be inferred from the data above, selfie deaths have now become a serious issue. There is nothing wrong in taking selfies but it should be taken with precaution. I also take selfie sometimes but what I want to point it out with this article is that, do take selfie but with care. Don’t put your life on stake unnecessarily. Taking selfie is not bad but the only thing is it should be taken with precaution. Do look around before taking selfie to check whether you are safe enough or not. Don’t take risk as life is precious. This is an alarming situation and it can be checked provided people should pay precautions while taking selfies.

And last, if you understand this and wise enough to take the precaution, then do sing this song while taking selfie, “Chal beta selfie le le re.” 🙂

Send me the link :-)

Remembering the initial days of blogging, I remember one of the most common excuses given by most of my friends was , “Send me the link of your blog post I will see it… ” However, this has not yet changed and remains intact meaning that if I ask them to look in to my blog post, the same excuse comes. 🙂 For more than six years I came across this excuse. If you will ask whether they really read your post, the answer will most of the time, “Arey, I forgot. Please send me the link again.”  Have you been through such response? 😛

Interestingly, one person told me to send link to all my blog posts. I responded in saying that I will send you my blog link where you can read all the posts (obviously my blog will contain all the posts… 😛 ). But he kept on insisting to send all the links separately so that he will read when he is free and is in relaxed mood. I was wondering what to respond.  I thought there are more than 100 posts, meaning I need to send 100 links to him. LOl… 😛  Obviously these memories make me laugh and I really enjoy facing them. 😛 What about you all? Did you come across such incidents? Do share your experience which will make me and others to laugh more. Hahaha… 😛

Ignoring the beauty of life…

Looking at every aspect of life.
We do ignore the beauty of life.
During the midst of happy and sad.
We really become, sometimes mad.
Chasing the one which we don’t need.
Lands us in situation of greed.
Even the heart says it is wrong.
We indulge in doing the wrong.
Involving in the thorny path.
We ignore the present golden path.
Instead of finding the positive.
We do find negatives in positive.
Leaving the glorious beauty aside.
We move towards the unhealthy side.

One needs to have introspection.
Instead of indulging in conspiration.
Life has several layers to come.
Good or bad, we need to overcome.
During the sole honeymoon period.
We forget the struggle period.
One should learn from the mistakes of past.
Rather than blaming the past.
The mindset needs to be changed.
Then only we can bring a change.
Harsh reality still persists.
As…
Looking at every aspect of life.
We do ignore the beauty of life.
Ignore the beauty of life.

Unique Blogger Award…

Recently, one of my blogger friend POOJAG nominated me for the Unique Blogger Award. She is a versatile writer and writes in various genre like poems, quotations etc. You should visit her blog for having nice literary pieces. I would like to thank her for considering me for this award. This is also after a long time that I am posting an award post. The last time I did was in November 2015, more than one and half years. Excuse me for my absence from the award posts… 🙂

Rules

  • Share the link to the blogger who has shown love to you by nominating you.
  • Answer the questions.
  • In the spirit of sharing love and solidarity with our blogging family, nominate 15 people and notify them.
  • Ask them three questions.

My answers to the questions

1.What (or who) inspired you to get into blogging?

As blogging is a good platform to share your literary pieces. I was writing and posting in my notes on facebook (where no one was reading :-P). I came to know about blogging when I was in first year of my B.Tech and hence  started to blog

2. Describe your ideal three-course meal?

It’s difficult to describe. I prefer some spicy food which may be from veg or non veg…

3. Would you consider naming any future children after fictional characters, if so which characters?

Question postponed till marriage… 😛

I would like to nominate the following bloggers;

The questions for the nominated bloggers are same as answered by me. Feel free to accept/reject the award. Have a good day. 🙂
