Some unusual questions and their answers…

We often come across several questions in our life. Some are answerable and some are not. But, what about those questions which are answerable but we are not willing to answer the same.  In this post I will be talking about those questions which sometimes irritate us. The person raising those questions knows the answers but then also he/she rises. The reason may be for fun or intentionally to irritate others or to make the serious situation lightly.

Q.1. You came from office?

The answerable person had just now reached home from office with irritated mind and feels uncomfortable with this question. Irritatingly he responds, “ No no, this is not me. This is my clone standing in front of you. The real me is on the way. I came just to answer your query.”

Q.2.  A person goes to his friend’s house and enquires about his presence. His wife responds that he is in bathroom.

By knowing that he is in bathroom, the person asks that is he taking bath there? Wife gets irritated and responds that, “No actually he forgot to do exercise today and so is doing now in bathroom as nobody can disturb him in bathroom. Also after performing the exercise he will indulge in some religious activities which will take an hour for sure. You want to join him? “

Q.3. You are taking medicines. Do you have any health issues?

Irritated by the question, the respondent replies, “No, actually I have never tasted any medicines in my life till now. So I thought of taking various medicines with different taste ranging from sour, bitter, sweet etc and also I am trying different flavors. After that I will also taste the medicines for different diseases and then I will be preparing a report and submit before you for review.”

Q.4. Hey you have sent me your marriage invitation. Are you getting married?

The person who sent the invitation is actually getting married and thinking to the question for a while, the person responds, “The reason why I sent my marriage invitation is because I wanted to know how marriage happens. So I thought of doing a mock test of marriage before I actually get married.  The idea came in my mind and hence I invited you along with others. Hope you will be present. It is not the actual marriage but a form of dry run. “

There are many such questions which we face in our life. Sometimes we enjoy and sometimes we get irritated. I hope you have enjoyed reading those questions and silly answers. J  😛 Many of you might have encountered with the similar questions mentioned above. Please share your experience to those questions, how will you respond and will you enjoy or get irritated on encountering such questions. 🙂

What is good and bad ?

There are times when we are not able to distinguish between the good and the bad. How do we come to a conclusion whether this is good or that is bad ? Is there a parameter for the same ? Well… this is an open debate and will remain as everyone has its own way to distinguish between the two. One thing can be good for someone and the same can be bad for others. This happens for sure. This article discusses about the goodness and badness.

In the fast moving world, we often come to circumstances where we are  not in a condition to come to a conclusion. A dilemma surrounds us. How do we call something is good ? If somebody helps you in trying condition, is that good ? When you are forced to do what you don’t want to do, is that good ? The normal answer is yes and no respectively.  There is also a time when we take some startling decisions hoping to have good impact in future but reverse happens. Life is full of twists and turns. Every individual has its own way to distinguish between the two.

Let me give some practical examples. Suppose a boy and a girl are in love with each other. The girl suddenly thinks that he is not a perfect match for her and decides to call an end to the relationship. When the boy comes to know the same he will be in shock for sometime for sure. Boy will definitely have  a kind of negativity and darkness at that time and in general he will say the girl did very bad to me. Ladki ne mere sath bahut ganda kiya… bla, bla etc… 😦  The reverse can also happen.  The thing is the boy thinks that the girl had done bad to him and at the same time the girl will think its good that I decided to dump him…. Now have a look at a different perspective. Suppose there are two friends who are having good friendship for a long time. First one has never been in bad doings and the second had done some bad in the past but not to his friend.  Both are having equal trust on each other. Suddenly there is a U turn taken by the second one due to greed or some other reason and he did something to his best friend which the later had never expected which ultimately lands his friend in no mans land. Now with this kind of betrayal the one who had never done bad in his life seems to have totally gone out of his goodness. He starts doing things which is totally out of his domain and range indulging in nuisance activities and ultimately harming others as well. Here betrayal made a good man finally coming in to a bad man now.  Is it right to become bad from good ?

The question what is good and what is bad has no answer in general. This is also a question which was running in my mind for many years. So I thought of raising this uncommon question in the form of this article. At the end, I would like to share one of the quotes of one of the greatest son of India, Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati  who in this quote had given a strong message which makes this quote one of my favorite.

When bad does not leave their badness why does the good leave there goodness.

So what according to you is good and bad ? Share your views… 🙂

The need of Introspection

In the present scenario of fast moving world, we often achieve many things and also lose something. There are situations when we miss something. The world is changing day by day and people are no more out of this changing world. Every time we are in hurry. Sometimes it works and sometimes it won’t. Life is too short to achieve everything. Many people wants to get more and more even though if it won’t fall in their domain. Sometimes greeds surpasses the values and ethics.

Life is always beautiful. Everything happens has purpose hidden behind it provided if we take it in a different way without losing patience. Loss of patience creates many problems and if patience is lost then we definitely go for doing things in a hurry which ultimately leads to damage. We meet several people in our day to day life and we never feel reluctant in pointing to others problems, their mistakes and their wrong deeds if any. But the thing is we should also give some time to analyse ourselves, the need of introspection, an important thing which we often miss.

introspection1

One of the most surprising things I have seen and experienced is that we all have time for our work, laughing and gossiping, indulging in blame – game etc. We always have time to spent on Facebook, twitter, bla bla…. and I have seen many addicted victims spending hours on these. I am not against on any of them as I am also a user of these. 🙂 The thing is we have 24 hours in a day so can’t we give at least some minutes to analyse ourselves , talk to ourselves and improve our own thinking ability, create new innovative idea that will refresh our mind and make us  a good human being.

As you know introspection means talking to ourselves and it has the power to change the mindset if done in a correct manner. Blaming on others and remembering others mistakes and pointing that is the general attitude of humans and is enjoyed a lot. One must give sometime to himself/herself as it gives you a chance to know yourself better and better. One can know himself only when he is able to give time to himself. Talking to ourselves gives a pleasant feeling and it is at this time only when we also accept our own mistakes. Yes no one is perfect and life is all about to improve ourselves and for that improvement , introspection is required.

If one is able to give at least 5 minutes also for introspection, life will be different, mind becomes sharp and if mind becomes sharp creativity and innovations can be done easily. It is just how we manage time in life. Introspection gives you the chance to discover the beautiful person hidden inside you. It allows you to find the special inside you. It gives you the ability to know your inner strength and explore yourself as much as you can. Introspection is not a big deal to implement. You don’t need electricity, laptop, mobile phones etc. for introspection. 🙂 The thing you need is “you only and I think…

You are present everywhere wherever you go. You  cannot leave yourself and go. So introspect ….

I would like to conclude this article with one of the finest quote of Swami Vivekananda and this is one of my favourite quite which perfectly describes the need of introspection…

Talk to yourself once in a day… Otherwise you may miss meeting an excellent person in this world.                                                           – Swami Vivekananda

So introspect yourself and explore the hidden strength inside you…
