Online food delivery has become part of life, particularly in urban areas and amongst youngsters. This post is about online food delivery wherein Mr X throws few interesting questions. 😊 😛 Let us see what Mr X wants to convey.
Mr X was to meet one of his relatives. He thought of taking some sweets as he was meeting them after one year due to lockdown. He ordered some sweets online. After placing the order, the status on app was showing “Your order has been received”. Mr X checked the status after few minutes, and it showed “Food is being prepared”.… Mr X thought for a while and he recalled what he ordered. He ordered Gulab Jamun, Kaju Katli, Moti Choor Laddoo, Rasmalai and Rasgullas. Mr X was wondering how is it possible to prepare all these sweets after placing the order? Also, the status on app was showing “Your order will be delivered tentatively in 30 minutes”. Mr X mind was full of few questions as below:
- How come Gulab Jamun, Rasgullas, Kaju Katli, Moti Choor Laddoo and Rasmalai can be prepared after I placed the order?
- Preparation of these sweets started after I placed the order?
- It takes hours to prepare sweets and few sweets even take more than 24 hours to get into the final touch. Then how is it possible that these sweets are prepared in so less time?
- “Food is being prepared” should not be the status as sweets are already prepared in advance and not after placing the order…
Logically, Mr X is right as sweets preparation takes time, in general. Try to answer the above questions raised by Mr X. 😊 😛 His logic seems to be correct. Share your thoughts on Mr X observations and thinking. Have you ever thought of such questions? 😛
Stay happy. Stay safe… Keep smiling… 😊 😛 And yeah, don’t do overthinking after reading this post… 😛

May that “Food is being prepared” is inbuilt program and packing sweets from that particular shop takes time due to customers or something🙂
And honestly I would never order sweets online.😝😝

Dude! That’s something I wanted to discuss for s long time.
There are tons of dishes which I’m sure can’t be cooked within 30 min. (Sweets included)
And “food is being prepared” woah…
Let’s order coldrink someday & zomato will be like- your beverage is being prepared…lol.
Btw, Nice post.

Aishaji, apne to apni book “Dosti aur Pyar” publish ki hai recently. Maine khareeda hai par abhi tak padh nahi paya hun… Jald hi padhunga…
Book publish karne ke do tareeke hain:
1. Self Publication: In self publication, you need to invest money as per the plan you choose. There are various plans available and the author need to pick and choose and pay as per the plan chosen. Publisher will make the book available on online platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, E Bay etc. and the book won’t be available generally, in normal book stores like Crosswords etc. In self publishing you only need to send the sample of manuscript to the publisher and once they accept the manuscript, author need to choose the plan and pay the amount. The amount varies from INR 25,000 to INR 1 Lac to INR 3 Lacs or even more, depending on the plans the publisher offers to the author. Also, marketing of the book depends on the plan chosen. Many novice writers go for self publication.
Some of the self publishers are Notion Press, BecomeShakespeare, Zorba Books, Writers Workshop India, Partridge Publication, Orange Publishers, Wordsbrew, Inkart Publishing etc. to name a few.
2. Traditional Publication: In traditional publication, the author need to send the sample of the manuscript i.e few chapters of the manuscript along with the synopsis of the manuscript. The publisher editorial team will review the sample chapters and once they are convinced with the content, they will contact the author and request them to share the entire manuscript. The editorial team may suggest for some relevant changes, if any. The contract is made between the author and the publisher. Once the book is published, it is made available online on Amazon , Flipkart etc. amd on the book stores as well. It takes time in traditional publishing as the publisher takes 3 months to 6 months to review and provide their acceptance to publish the book.
Some of the traditional publishers include Penguin India, Rupa Publication, HarperCollins, Westland Publications, Shrishti Publishing etc.
Apart from the above two ways of book publishing, e-Book publishing had gained momentum in recent years. You can publish E-Book as well.
Go through the above mentioned ways of publishing including E-Book and then decide how you would like to get your book published. Visit website of various publishers (Self publication/Traditional/E-Book) and then select and publish…
All the best… 🙂

Aishaji, ap ye decide kijiye ki apko book kaise publish karni hai. Self publication karna hai ya traditional publication karna hai…
Dekhiye, self publication me apko paisa invest karna hoga aur book publish thoda jaldi ho jayega apka. Ye depend ap par parta hai ki aap kitna paisa invest kar sakte hain apna book publish karne ke liye. Apko minimum 25,000 rupees lagega jo ki depend karega ap kaun se plan chose karti hain.
Agar apko jaldi book publish karni hai aur agar ap paisa invest kar sakte hain, to aap apna book self publish kar sakte hain…
Jahan tak traditional publication ki baat hai, isme time lagta hai. 3 months to 6 months lagta hai publisher se confirmation ane me ki wo apka book publish karenge ya nahi. Apko paisa nahi lagega is case me agar apka book accept ho jaat hai to ya bahut kam amount lagega.
Agar apke pass time hai to ap traditional publication se apna book publish kar sakte hain. 3 months to 6 months lagega…
Ap apna book email ke zariye publisher ko bhej sakte hain… Lekin pehle ye apko decide kar ke batana hoga ki ap paisa kharch karke aur jaldi publish karwana chahti hain ya thoda time de kar (6 months) publish karwana chahti hai…
Book apne likhi hai to pehle ap ye decide kijiye ki apko paisa kharch kar ke publish karna hai ya ap 6 months jo ki normally lagta hai traditional publishing me.

Aishaji, ap Notion Press auf Amazon se free me book publish kar sakte hain. Book free me publish ho jayega wahan se jo ki self publishing hoga aur apko sab kuch karna hoga apni taraf se…
Traditional tareeke se kijiyega to publisher apko help bhi karega agar wo apka book publish karne ko accept karta hai, isme thoda time lagta hai… Ap ek bar padh lijiye internet pe sab kuch avaialble hai aur youtube par videos bhi hai, waha se bhi ap samajh sakte hain… Kyunki apko paise nhi invest karne hain to traditional tareeka hi thik hai apke liye…
Soch ke decide kijiye.

Ji nai Aishaji, meri nazar me koi nahi hai…. Agar apne apna book complete kar liya hai to ap direct publisher ko bhej dijiye (by email ya hard copy)… traditional tareeke se publish kijiye, maine isliye kaha hai… apko sirf apne book ka kuch chapters bhejna hoga publisher ko aur wo fir apka book publish karenge agar unko pasand aya to…
Traditional tareeke se kijiyega to apko jada kuch nahi karna padega, sirf apko apne book ka do ya teen chapters bhejna hoga aur ap ye mobile se bhi kar sakti hain… laptop ya computer ki zaroorat nahi padegi…
Ap pehle Google par search kijiye ki hindi book kaun kaun publisher publish karte hain traditional tareeke se aur kitne aise publisher hain jo naye writers ko mauka dete hain. Iske bad apko jo publisher thik lage ap apna sample chapters unhe bhej dijiye aur unke haan kehne ka wait kijiye.. uske baad wo apko guide kar denge… apko sirf ek email karna hai apne book ke kuch chapters ka aur kuch nahi…
mujhe yehi ek tareeka lag raha hai jo apke liye thik hoga aur apka koi paise bhi nahi lagenge… lekin book publish hone me thoda time lagta hai is tareeke se… apko sab kuch hindi me available hai internet me jo ki ap apne mobile se aram se samajh sakte hain…

This takes me to a classroom where Prof Einstein was taking
a class… every day he will ask the same question – once the student asked him, Sir, “ You ask the same question every day? For which Prof. Einstein said…Yes and I expect a different answer every day.
On a serious note questions has to be reframed for freshly cooked VS packaging. Eventually that will also come. Power of 5G, AI, and yeah delivery mange more !

Or the statement should be reframed. Sometimes on online transport services. You order, and a statement will automatically appear “driver will be with you in the next 5 minutes” sometimes,it works, sometimes, the driver would be very far from you.
