Dream night

I slept one night with positive vibes.

Dream came with negative vibes.

My entire structure collapsed.

It was difficult to find way to survive.

I saw myself struggling a lot.

Trying to build a new plot.

Construction started with full effort.

That also vanished due to a sudden storm.

There was nothing left to gain.

I was suffering with severe pain.

Crying from inside and outside.

I was fighting in my dream night.

Left alone in the curse of life.

I was finding some ray of light.

Barking words coming from everywhere.

Nothing is left anywhere.

Humanity killed and humans are alive.

That’s the real world I must realize.

People won’t be sympathetic.

Better I should become pragmatic.

Suddenly I woke up from my dream.

Surprised to know what I saw in the dream.

Dream gave me one lesson.

Don’t give up but fight with your passion.

What I learnt is what I shared.

Dream taught me which I should care.

It was a nice morning looking at the rising sun.

Learning to move ahead with hope of none.

Humans have forgotten humanity.

Sorry to say but that’s the reality.

I saw that dream long ago.

It gave me courage to go and get go.

The dream which I saw that night,

where I was fighting in my dream night.

It became my dream night which gave me courage to fight.

      I was willing to write a poem on dream and while I started to pen it, I found it to be little challenging. I started with different thinking and thought of writing in a different manner like what you printed, “spoken word poem” and I am happy that I was able to complete it and share with you all… 🤗 I’m really grateful for your kind words and finding the heart of the poem and considerating it to be powerful… It’s a big compliment for me… Thank you so much… 🙏🤗👍

      1. I love this!! It’s always a joy to try to put myself in the author’s shows and think of the angle from which they were writing it. Did what I take from it equal what they hoped their readers would resolve? To hear that I heard the rhythm and to know you were struggling and that’s how it poured out that way is truly beautiful! It’s always a pleasure to read others work and learn from them… In these eight years of my blogging journey I have read many bloggers work and have learnt a lot and one more precious blogger is added now in that… 👍👏. When I write I try to write what I feel and there are times when I thought of writing on a particular theme but ended up writing on totally different from what I thought… This happens… As far as this poem is concerned, yes I was struggling during writing but finally tried to put it in a different way and present it to my lovely readers… If what I have written can be related to the readers while reading I consider it a gift from readers… 🙏 I have tried to write in different angles and perspective and I hope to continue the same… 🤗
